It's no wonder they're not recognized, official stats record Jefferson with 3 QS's with no sacks for any other members of the team. I'll have to re-watch the game more closely but I know Nevis, Richardson and Hansen got to Harris at least once each putting him on his back and Thiadric was responsible for one F.F.. In the end stats. are for losers, this is the best D-line the Bombers have fielded in an extremely long time.

1 WJ. Beast mode tnite. Sacks kds pressure and a huge tip on the on side kick. 2 the rest of the DL. Tons of pressure pass kds great play. 3 harris and streveler running. Tons of big first down runs from both. Hard night of running. Hh Medlock with the 52 yarder at the half just getting over. And the 50 to seal it.

    GDT - Bombers vs Esks

Edmonton is widely considered the second best team in the league and we beat them with 87 yards passing. This team needs merely non-disastrous QB play to win.

    Block of the game

check out this beauty block by Bighill on the Rios pick six. Ball is tipped, Gable standing around, Bighill and Rios are barely in the frame, but they get on their horses... Rios grabs the ball, Gable is still kinda ambling around, but he's in position to touch Rios down... Nope. Bighill runs past Gable, spins 180 degrees around at full speed, gets both hands on the only guy who can make the tackle. And so... Just love watching these guys rally to each other. What a team.

  18. Did you hear his whiny post game interview on TSN? He basically called the refs out and said there should have been penalties against us too when they got dinged for those 30 yards near the end of the game. He just kept going on and on about it. Its always the retaliation that gets called bro. Ours guys had stopped mucking it up and were walking away, while your guys were continuing to be dicks and shoved a ref. SUCK A FAT ONE MAAS! And I know you can hear me with those 2 satellite dishes attached to the sides of your head!

  23. I think that's unfair. He hit Matthews and Matthews let the db interupt the pass, he hit Demski in traffic and Demski put it on the ground, he hit wolitarsky and again it hit the ground. I think his passing numbers look worse than they should to be honest. There was even the swing pass to Harris on 2nd and 20 that I put the blame on Harris. He had to get that ball out quick and Harris wasn't ready for it. Streveler is not a bad passer, our team just has a bad passing game plan a lot of nights. He also had to deal with pressure a lot of the night. Yes the numbers look ugly, but I don't think he was really reckless with the ball. Sure there were a couple ugly throws, but there was more good than bad, he just didn't get a lot of help in the passing game.

  24. Gotta give props to Walters and scouts too. McAllister and Rios with a combo pick six....Hansen taking a regular role...Kongbo taking a big role....no matter who plays field HB nobody scores TD's on us. Eli and Desjarlais playing with mixed results....but we're winning with them. Lots of 2019 picks and rookies making plays.

    GDT - Bombers vs Esks

Why? He had 4 2 and outs all game. He moved the ball.. Put up Nichols like combined numbers. It wasn't pretty passing but Woli Demski Matthews with drops for sure. He looked fine. Esks D is a good D. The O averages 300 yards roughly a game. They aren't marching.. They are close to dead last in 2 and outs.. Def last in passing yards.. No reveiver on pass for 1000 yards. Might have been unorthodox but the O put up about as many total yards as normal this year.

  26. Cool watching the replay of the Streveler TD and how jacked guys like Whitehead and Lawler are, guys that are fairly new to the Bombers and didn't get the ball much but just pumped to contribute how they can.

we got real lucky that Gray didn't get flagged there. He shoved a guy pretty good and could easily have been flagged, but they didn't, and his teammates got him off the field, and then when Hunter wouldn't let it go, and shoved a ref, he got the retaliation flag that will ALWAYS come....

  31. I'm curious if it's a coincidence that he's gotten better without as much rotating. He's playing more snaps since Jeffcoat and Roh went down, and his play has gone up. Possible that he just needs to be in there snap after snap after snap.

My HH took a regular turn on the DL, including on the 3-man front with Kongbo and Big WJ, and he did not look out of place despite having zero elite football training prior to this season. On Rios' pick-six, he pancaked the Eskie LT, crashed the pocket, and rendezvoused with McCallister at the QB. And late in the second quarter, his pressure forced a rare Edmonton 2-and-out. After that play, Suitor said that Harris overreacted to the pass rush, that he was "feeling pressure that's not there." Ladies and gents, my HH tonight is Thiadric "Not There" Hansen. Honourable mentions to Edmonton 41 and 43, who gave us the winning TD by dinking out with some boneheaded penalties. That team is definitely taking the personality of its coach. Can't generally win a game getting outpassed 5 to 1 without a huge break, and that play was ours. Dishonourable mentions to everyone involved in the attempted explanation of the (roughing? contacting?) the kicker noncall.

  38. Dribbled ball...should be a safety, would be a single if it went out directly from the kick, since Edmonton punched it out of touch it's a safety. Could have been a huge turning point handing Edmonton the ball and some field position on a botched call. The key words below are "directed" and "possessed." If Edmonton recovered the ball and killed the play it's a single. Directing it out of touch makes it a safety. Article 3 — Safety Touch A safety touch is scored when the ball becomes dead in the possession of a team in its own Goal Area, or touches or crosses the Dead Line or a Sideline in Goal as a result of the ball having been carried, kicked, fumbled or otherwise directed from the Field of Play into the Goal Area by the team scored against, or as a direct result of a kick from scrimmage having been blocked in the Field of Play or Goal Area. After a safety touch, the options to the scoring team are to: Scrimmage at their own 35-yard line, kickoff from their own 35-yard line or, Accept a kickoff from the 25-yard line of the team who conceded the safety touch. If while in the act of conceding a safety touch, a team deliberately, in the judgment of the official, commits a Holding infraction, the score shall count and the penalty applied at the point where the ball is next put into play. When a Rough Play or Unnecessary Roughness foul is committed on a play during which a safety touch is scored by the non-offending team, the score shall be allowed and the penalty assessed from the point where the ball is next put in play. Article 4 — Single Point Or Rouge If the ball is kicked into the Goal Area by an opponent, a rouge is scored: when the ball becomes dead in possession of a team in its own Goal Area or, when the ball touches or crosses the Dead Line or a Sideline in Goal, and touches the ground, a player or some object beyond these lines.
