  2. If you take away 9 of his TD's, his ratio is 1 to 1 and that's awful.

  4. 28 pages of regular season bomber news 22 already here. I anticipate that when we lose a game this thread doubles in size and both sides have a show down on portage and main gangs of New York style.

You know who has looked good at receiver in his first two games, Montreal Alouette Quan Bray. Dom Davis has 3 TD passes and 7 Interceptions, that is brutal. I think the CFL took holding out of the rulebook and just didn't announce it.

Bombers - Beating up bad teams + Edmonton Ticats - Beating up bad teams + Calgary Eskimos - Beating up bad teams only Stamps - Getting better, but not there yet Als - Surprisingly 2nd in the east. Almost out of the bad teams category. GM'd by Joe Mack!😯 Redblacks - Looked horrible this week. The shine is off of Dom. JJ anyone? Riders - Best of the worst teams Lions - 99 problems starting with the OC Argos - 100 problems

  9. How that turkey got to where he was while virtually failing at every level as he tripped his way up the coaching & management ladder is truly amazing.

  10. Cheating the cap yet he fields a team like that? Amazing. In all seriousness though, circumventing the cap and charging staff for plane tickets....ban him for life.

power rankings are stupid, but I think that BC belongs at the bottom of any power rankings this week. They just looked flat and disinterested against Edmonton, while the Argos still showed some fight even after it was 31-0.

  12. 10 TDs and 1 pick....is managing the games, somewhat well, in my books.

  13. As bad as the train wreck in BC is - I would love to see them beat up on the Riders - If they manage a win in Regina the Rider fans will be in total melt down.

  14. Arbuckle played way way better than Masoli. The Stamps were let down by Eric Rogers (and others) drops and the two fumbles.

  15. He mentioned it on the pre-game show. He also brought up the point that Hall was as good as gone last year if it wasn't for Osh rallying hard for him. Milt and Sanchez nodded in agreement. They all seemed to agree that it was a good move not to release Richie. Benevides is excellent on the panel. He adds a good conterpoint to the hysterics of the other guys and drops little morsels like his opinion on Hecht and this Hall scenario. He said something else that made me sit up but I cant remember what it was.

  16. Wow Khari Jones with the power play, doing such a good job he gets the GM fired. Good on ya Khari, I always knew he would be a good choice to be a head coach.

  21. The way Hecht’s arm was dangling when he came off I thought dislocated shoulder. But given how he was moving it around, I thought if they popped it back in, he is showing no ill effects. Given what others saw, concussion protocol makes sense. I suspect in a tight game, he and Hardrick go back in. But as much as it bothers some fans who hate common sense and foot off the gas, resting them and coasting was the proper move.

  23. In b4 a certain TiCats fan plagiarizes this again lol But let's get to it 1. Willie Jefferson was really onto something when he brought up the smoke thing, cuz there was a ton of it this last Friday, and IGF was rocking 2. BC has to be the most excruciating team to watch on national TV. Man, just all around raddy and awful the way they got things on the sideline and field. Lions fans, I'm sorry but I don't think it's going to get better any time real soon. 3. Edmonton is the league's win but without excitement team 4. Toronto is still in the cellar, but hey at least they finally figured out how to throw to D. Walker, they should try it more 5. Ottawa is still 2-2, but Dom Davis and Chris Randle are headed for trouble if they don't get it straightened out. Almost Jonathon Jennings time 6. Montreal is the dark horse who you had better not diss. Bombers had better be careful not to get caught in a trap game when we go to their house. 2-2 and getting better. 7. The Nick Arbuckle train got derailed as did the Roberson one. Stampeder fan nation in a meltdown. 8. Despite the incompetence of Masoli and Hajrallahu, the TiCats showed why you shouldn't say they're done based on one fluke Stanback game. Best in the East by far still. Good thing Jamie Nye the not so science guy wasn't able to jinx this one. 9. The Riders were off thank god

Bombers. The best until further notice. Eskimos. Second until further notice. Cats. Questions remain (abound?) But they showed some cobbles last night when it mattered. Redblacks. Water finding it's level. Stamps. Arbuckle played more than well enough to win. Betrayed by lazy drops and turnovers. They'll be fine. Larks. Vital signs restored ? Seems like it. Need a good western test. Lions. Feel good story of the preseason. Then season started. New narratives written and all them horrible. Argos. Chamblin lost this team in pre season. Sloppy, unfocused play is an indictment of him.

What I saw in this game... Vernon Adams is mobile but it seems like every game he has about 5 throws where his feet are not planted and he's throwing completely off balanced.... these throws usually are very close to being interceptions. He knifed some good throws in traffic but he definitely doesn't handle pressure well. Davis was for the most part absolute garbage. He should of had a few more picks against him. The guy locks in on guys big time. I'm glad that he was called out on being 3 games bad and only one game good this season. Montreal has a decent defense.... Ottawa is soft in the secondary. Randle is just not having a good season at all. My biggest take away is that when things were not going well for Montreal in the 2nd quarter.... They showed Khari pumping up his team and yelling lets make a stop or follow your lines.... actually coaching. Compare that to Claybrooks who when things go bad has his tongue sticking out and looking completely lost and defeated. Khari is definitely getting the most out of his team and I take back my previous comments on thinking he was just a mediocre coordinator.

  36. On the one in the north end zone the miscommunication/misread was on the corner being not in his zone..Jones was over top help and hustled to try and get there. Not sure if halfback or corner was on wrong page but someone was. Jones made first key stop on the 3 goaline attempts and also several other nice reads/tackles... No real glaring errors...is interesting to hear tho Benevudes liking Hechts play and saying he is an upgrade over Loffler whom he said made way too many errors/screw ups at safety

Random thoughts so far: - We may get 3 or 4 picks against Davis next week. - Neilsen is already better than Rod Black at play by play - As I said a couple weeks ago, Khari has the Als playing hard, tough football every week despite a significant lack of talent. - Not his fault, but does Brad Sinopoli still play for Ottawa? - Split screen is brutal - Wouldn't it be something if Montreal somehow knocked off Hamilton in the playoffs... - ...Is Montreal actually going to make the playoffs? Doesn't seem so crazy does it? - Jon Jennings may get some reps in the not too distant future.

  45. Wade Miller tipped off fans at the "You Make The Call" event that theses were coming and swore everyone in attendance to secrecy. I ran into him at the home opener and asked where they were. He said they needed a couple more weeks to roll them out and I said "Dammit Wade, this secret-keeping is killing me!!!!" Have to admit, they are a neat idea, but this flag almost ruined it for me. Had a PTSD flashback to 2001 when I saw it.
