It's interesting how this place has changed in the past couple of years. We used to celebrate victories to the point it would almost and i said almost reflect what you might see at RF.com. But without some of the over the top crap that goes on in that place. I can't tell whats changed. Maybe it's a new crop of posters who just can't enjoy the win but must find something negative to counter balance the positive. it reminds me of a boss I had when I was first starting out. He would shake your hand and give you a compliment but slap you across the head with the other. I asked him why one day after some liquid courage and he said he didn't want his people to get too comfortable or feel too safe. At that time I knew that would never be my management style but he felt it was necessary. After a win I choose to dwell on the positive. Even after a 50 - 0 win you could still find a negative or two but whats the benefit to that? With all the **** going on in the world. Sports is what makes us smile and feel good especially after our team wins. I have no problem discussing something that was overwhelmingly bad or a poor decision but to pick on the minutiae of the win. Thats just a waste.

Our German LB made the tackle on that punt fake too.

How about the interior of the O line. a supposed undersized centre, one guard that's very green and another that has vast potential, pair them with 2 great bookends and they have played very well so far this season.

The fact that Nichols was interviewed at all leads me to believe he will be fine.

Based on some of the goofy positions taken and strongly defended, I'm going to make a wild guess and say that some people are posting while well over the legal limit, booze or weed, or some combination of the two

Well under 300 yards Net Offense for Ottawa, bunch of turnovers, no TD's....what an amazing defensive effort.

1 harris. Grinding and pounding all day. 2 Miller all the special teams tackles plus a catch and run for a first down 3 rose. Big hit pick and fumble recovery HH Medlock legging it down field to get the ball on the one. Goat of the game is refs. Soo many bad and blown calls especially head to head and ott being chippy and dirty to no flag.

Someone smarter than me (and there are plenty) should explain to me why Adams' touchdown did not count. The play ends up with an official signalling a touchdown. The ref says the penalty occurred after the play and moves the ball to the 15. Question: if the penalty occurred after a play that ended with a TD, why was the penalty not assessed on the ensuing kickoff? There is no difference in the final outcome of the drive except Adams deserved that stat after the great catch.

What about demski? The guy made a huge play and made catches when called upon. Thought he was a huge impact.

It is a real shame that teams never seem to play well against us, maybe one day we'll get a real victory.

We are the only undefeated team in the CFL.... when was the last time we could say that?

Not a huge Nichols guy, but don’t think it’s fair to analyze every single snap in a vacuum. He’s playing fairly well tonight.

After reading the rf thread about our game yesterday....I truly hope the riders get stomped on tonight. I hope they are emabarrassed by the end of the game..... they simply can't handle the truth.

One thing that I don't think is getting enough talk is the game Darvin Adams had last night. I realize he had only 3 for 55, but the degree of difficulty on his catches were extremely high and would have had a touchdown added to his totals if not for a penalty.

I sure enjoyed that game. The team has ditched it's folding problem. I think Jake Thomas was double teamed, pushed through, and then around for his sack. I know some people think he's just ok, but he seems to make some pretty big plays, fairly regularly. Obviously Briggs did his job, thought he looked speedy and effective on a couple of blitzes. I enjoyed seeing the other guys congratulating Fenner after his int, they were almost as happy as he was. Bombers are the epitome of winning as a team. Thanks Coaches that's from you.

It was a good night here in Belen. I started off listening to the game on CJOB then found a live stream of the game on YouTube. The only undefeated team in the CFL? GO BOMBERS! Good night everyone in Winnipeg!

One big area for improvement...install more plays that suit Streveler. Nichols could go out in the first series (see Sask)...need to be prepared.

The bombers gave up 14 points. 7 off a forced fumble (d wasn't on the field) 3 off an interception they held to a fg. 1 off a punt single. You're pissed the defence gave up one drive for a field goal all game?

No sometimes people just say stupid **** and deserve to be called a moron. 1 touchdown against in 3 games and you come in here talking about giving up points and yards not mattering... get your head out of your ass. You said a profoundly stupid thing and were rightly called on it.

Lapo needed to let Streveler play with a real game plan. Handing off every first down is not a good way to make it easier on your young qb. That just puts him in more 2nd and longs. I thought he was OK apart from a couple plays, just didn't have a game plan to showcase him. It was all about the classic Lapo play it safe and punt game plan with a lead. D was dominant, especially the defensive line. Ottawa just just chucking and hoping for the best all night. When Nichols was in Lapo was good Lapo, after he went out he went into his shell.

Funny thing too how Streveler has an amazing 42 yards from just taking what the defense gave him. I can't quite think of the name for that kind of QB play but it seems to sound something like ... Errrr... Game manager Lol In all seriousness though this is why I have dubbed Lapolice as the owner of sub 300 passing QBs. This is what he does with his offenses and it's not unique to Nichols or Strev. And btw, I would NOT have blamed Strev if we had lost, but did he do any of the things that the Nichols detractors have been saying would happen if he was made starter? Nope.

Fantastic recap, thank you as always! I was also fuming at the non-call where Streveler was clearly sliding and then got earholed by a defender. I think that might have even been on the same drive that Harris got blatantly facemasked.
