  1. Want to thank @TrueBlue4ever for putting the effort in doing this throughout the off season. Not a small amount of work, and very much appreciated to give us all something else to talk about during a long off season.

The centrepiece of my cave is a (reportedly) game worn 71 from eBay. My unnaturally large son never remembers why his dad makes him wear 63 when he plays OLine. 38 would be pretty cool too. Please one of these years can the Bombers make some memories for my kids. Keeping the faith on Vancouver Island. Very grateful for training camp updates —- way more detail than Bombers website.

i read somewhere Soliman is injured..hasn't practiced yet?..how does one get injured before even being on the field...I think father time and injuries are taking toll on him and doubt he be much of an impact player there this year...more average than elite

Argos up quick 14-0 Jimmy Ralph with first TD and Derel Walker with the second. Set up on a long pass to a washed up SJ Green.

  19. Yeah, I get the feeling that he is likely dealing with some personal situation. Being absent this long, without the team releasing him likely means it's something serious. Hopefully him and his family are ok.

  20. Uhm... not sure why this is in the CLimate change thread... This should be in the forest management thread. We should be talking about raking the forest floors, like they do in Finland, as that is what combats wildfires. #MakeCanadaRakeAgain Here, just in case people were wondering if I was off my meds again. 22. Bauming and Tait have had a lot of quality stuff. There's the "fluffy" features, sure, but the casual fans really enjoy those. For us, there's the daily News n Notes column that Tait does. Bauming has a lot of tweets about stuff happening. Between the two of them, it's pretty good...

Our Canadians with significant starting experience are currently Harris, Neufeld, Demski, and Wolitarsky. Hecht and Couture also have some limited experience as starters. Geoff Gray is essentially a rookie... Derek Jones, Brady Oliveira, Tui Eli, Cody Speller, Petermann and Simonise all could potentially start... but potential can go either way. It would be unwise to cut Thomas. At the very least, he gives us flexibility in case we get hit with a rash of injuries to our starting Canadians.

  29. Generally when you are joking like this though, you come out and say it....like "ah man I'm just playing! lol" and then shake the guys had or whatever....Ed didn't do that...just walked away. Odd joke, especially when Stafford was asked about it and he certainly didn't seem like he was in on the joke.

Don't get it twisted. I have no hate for Thomas. But the writing is on the wall. They drafted 3 DL this year for a reason. Depth certainly being one of them, sure. But as much as I love Thomas he only made the grade last year after an injury to someone else, and he had a tremendous camp then as well. At the end of the day, we have 7 starting NI's without him. And at least 1 CND who has playing experience with 3 more that have way more upside behind him. There's likely minimal cost savings with cutting him, but the young guns will need reps, whether in game or practice. Hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see a point in keeping him.

if there is s surprise d-line cut it will be Nevis..or Roh...or both..Bryant is younger and cheaper than both, and way more upside and the last 6 ganes of year probably one of the best DT's in the league..Roh is expendable once Kongbo is healthy as it frees up a DI spot...and again...no need to "start" a national at DT...why make yourself weaker if you don't have to?..Richardson..Bryant..Nevis...offer wayyyyy more than Thomas...his time was already done last year but an injury got him back...he is on his last legs now...and will be lucky to make roster

  41. First thought would be who is the next guy up to snap the ball. If you can't get the ball reliably to the QB nothing else matters. If none of the 5 starters can handle that, then who your 6th guy is becomes really simple, and that's how Couture got on the roster as a rookie. Neufeld played around with it a bit too but struggled pretty badly in the 2017 preseason. If Couture doesn't win the starting job he'll almost for sure be the 6th OL.

  43. Beg to differ. Wyman has had several articles on the Bombers camp. This listing of TC injuries kind of snuck up on fans, so I don’t mind him reminding us just how quickly the list can grow. Wyman, even Friesen, and especially Ed Tait have kept us informed. Thank goodness. This year, there seems to be a lack of fan participation/reports, so I’m happy for whatever I can get.
