Innocent people don't even talk about being able to pardon themselves. What that shows me is that Trump knows he's rapidly heading up the creek and has suddenly realized he's got no paddle, so now you see the shift to "doesn't matter, I AM ABOVE THE LAW!" I just hope they throw his fat ass in jail as an example to the rest of the corrupt political system in the states. It's rotten to the core and making an example of the guy would hopefully give them pause to think before they keep trying to **** everyone over in their race to the bottom.

Lloyd passed for three touchdowns in the third quarter. BC Lions rookie quarterback Ricky Lloyd looked sharp in his team’s pre-season opener, taking the majority of the snaps after replacing an injured Cody Fajardo in the second quarter. The 25-year-old connected on 15 of 23 passes for 121 yards and three touchdowns in his team’s 36-23 Jonathon Jennings played just a quarter and the Lions’ projected starter connected on four of five passes and 40 yards. His counterpart, Bo Levi Mitchell, stayed in the game for two drives for the Stampeders, making three of five passes for 45 yards and a rushing touchdown before moving aside for the rest of the team’s pivots.victory. Ross could still win the backup job. It entirely possible he has a great game in BC and Streveler comes back to earth. Nothing is settled yet.

  9. McDonald did my reconstructions at Pan Am. Burnell has about a year waiting list but took a look at my X-rays and promised to get me in 4months. Rehab sucks but nothing near the discomfort before. I work out regularly and have no issues with it. Don’t put it off man. You are losing valuable days of pain free time. Now...given the crap that I have gone through (concussions, broken noses, stitches etc and never having any aspirations of going pro in sport....I would not have given up my years of football and hockey. I developed many close and important relationships that I values still to this day. Sport helped me communicate and work with others. I learned to respect others importantly my own abilities, but also kept me humble. I encourage my 3 boys to play whatever team sport they want because those times being on a team help shape who you are. Two are committed and playing high school football(RiverEast and West K) and the other hockey (RiverEast Royals). All three train all year round for their respected teams and plan to play in University. It keeps them away from a lot of negative influences and focussed on their grades as they realize that is going to be a big part of continuing towards their goals. Life is about being part of a team and life is competitive. You compete in the work force, our health/wellbeing, and sometimes even love lol. It’s made me a better professional in my career and a better family member. Injuries can happen anywhere at anytime doing almost anything, but the personal traits you develop through sport help you fight through a lot personal battles that are much more challenging.

From the look of things, Mahoney is a dead man walking, Streveler is tentatively set as #2 pivot, and Ross and Bennett will fight it out for the #3 QB spot. The BC preseason game will tell the story of which of these two gets the road map and apple.

It is night and day difference in how Fleury has played this series compared to against us. We had many really good shots that in this series he is only saving some of the times rather then all of the times.

Caused a lot of ill feelings that had nothing to do with the spirit or intent of the actual parade. Sad to see. Not sure if Winnipeg had the same issues with BLM.

I think its why Trump is desperately avoiding speaking with Mueller. Clinton was sunk for lying. If there was not enough evidence to indict or impeach Trump but he lies to Mueller, he'd be sunk. Its almost a guaranteed impeachment (whether he'd be kicked out of the White House is another story). I think he's clearly laying the ground work for 1) a defense in firing Mueller (a) there is nothing to investigate and b) he can't obstruct because he doesnt need a reason to fire anyone or end investigations 2) to pardon himself and his family. In the first case, even super pro Trump people I've seen discuss this, they might take that position but when asked if the President is above the law, they say no of course not. Im not sure you can have it both ways. Either the President IS above the law or he isn't. If he isnt, then of course he can obstruct and be consequenced for that obstruction. In the second, if he did it (and if Mueller returns a recommendation for indictment or impeachment, Trump WILL pardon himself eventually), it will end up in the Supreme Court. And I think there is a good chance he'd get away with it too. The DOJ interprets the law that you cannot judge yourself, thus you cannot pardon yourself. No one will ever suggest the pardon powers were envisioned with the idea that the President could create for himself a dictatorship whereby he could commit any crime and simply pardon himself for it. But...if it doesnt specifically say he can't, then the Supreme Court might come down among party lines. It will be up to the next President and Congress to change the pardon laws. The constitution isnt clear, I dont think, on this. The oath of office requires the President to "faithfully" execute his duties. The word is there for a reason. I think the strategy is to aggravate people to the point they are sick of the whole thing. Trump wont pardon himself or his family before the mid-terms. In fact, unless he's about to be impeached or his family is about to be tossed in jail, he might as well wait until hes leaving office. Then there is no political fall out.

Nichols got hurt..thats what kept him behind Reilly their first year together battling it out in TC and i believe was actually ahead of Reilly at one point. Had 2 brutal leg injuries Reilly grabbed the reins and the rest is history. I agree its still early but for Streveler to even be close to a backup role says alot about him. Unless they are all horrible then...well. 😂😉

Steveler could be like QB's Ricky Ray, Allen, Ham in their first year showing stuff from the get go ... he could also be completely something else ... he's got Pierce and Lapo and Nichols to decide what is the best course of development action .... If Bennett plays Friday I hope he is not like the majority of rookie QB's playing like a deer caught in the head lights .... young QB's need composure to do anything in this league ... I hope both Ross and Bennett show some of that composure Friday ... And yes Nichols needs a quarter to get ready for Edmonton: he needs rhythm and timing to shake off the rust we so often see in opening games ... he needs to perfect his timing with Bowman and learn how Simonaise and Demski will run their routes (where they will be when in a game setting) ... I think he will not need a tune up with Dressler and Adams but it won't hurt to refresh some memory imprints .... So Nichols for nearly a half and then divide up the remaining time between the other 3 aspiring QBs with more time for good performance: 1st Seveler then Bennett then Ross or as we saw last game alternating series for thinking and reflection time ... And no I am not concerned about possible injury to Nichols ... if you play the injury fear obsession we always hear from the TSN color commentators (exempt Dunigan) you can not play football at all.

Yes true but Streveler has never played a CFL down before this where Ross has had a full year already and action in a real CFL game ( limited i know) he should be well ahead of Streveler by now...it should not be close at this stage imo.

Our DB's are: Brandon Alexander Anthony Gaitor* Marcus Sayles * Mo Seisay * Chris Humes Derek Jones Kevin Fogg * Brian Walker * Chris Randle* Taylor Loffler Chandler Fenner * Maurice Leggett * Kahler Branning* Abu Conteh Steven Clarke * Rob Priester * Jordan Thomas * Tyneil Cooper * Brandon Morgan Jacob Firlotte # Fenner, Randle, & Loffler have their jobs locked down Fogg, Walker & Alexander are looking over their shoulder for the other 3 starting spots (Leggett might be 6 game IR) Clarke, a cfl veteran, looked good Friday ... so how close are Gaitor, Seisay and Sayles? Do Branning, Cooper, and Priester have a chance? Does Canadian Derek Jones have a shot to start at CB?

Feel like CFL has gone to a pocket passing league. There is way more speed and athleticism on D now that that teams can nullify some of that adlibing. Have to be able play in the pocket and run when need be in today's CFL. Look at Bo Levi had three carries all last year

I go there before this site and I have never done that before ... the website is really well done .... my only knock is how late in the day everything gets posted ... going to the menu bar helps get some stuff earlier

Itd depend for me on the direction practice will take. You dont want to over work the qb 1 and 2 arms if its still a lot of trying out and chances for new guys. We could on the other hand take the approach of getting rid of guys who are too far behind in their position race, and focus on building chemistry and developing a great grasp on small details for guys who will probably play for us at some point this year. I feel like mahoney is dead in the water here. And that ross is behind the curve. Mos puts a great deal of emphasis and value on what you do in pre season over TC. Ross has had a good camp but games arent played with red shirts and minimal contact. Pretty much. I like morgan i hope he sticks. To start the year I think one of TPB pierre and henry sit on the pr / IR. The last spots on the roster DI and imp are gonna be really hard calls.

  48. First Eskimo touch.....Robinson guy runs back punt 95 yds for TD...... Nichols getting some pressure and pops, early....... Randle fights receiver for ball...Clarke guy grabs INT..... Harris takes screen and rips a run, for a couple of first downs.... Nichols then hits Bowman in end zone, for 15 yd TD pass Zach Cline come in to QB the Esks.....sacked on first snap.... ..then chucks up 50 yd sideline pass.... D. Adams draws long PI call for about 50 yards..... Bowman can sure find his way open against zone D.... Medlock makes it 10-7 Robinson not getting much ground, since his TD return...... Jake Thomas flushes QB out of pocket.....Opo gets the sack Thomas then clobbers Cline, who scrambled out of the pocket.... Nichols overthrows Bowman couple of times..... One which turns into an INT, with a long return.... ...but Bowman will be a key component of this O. Cline looking shaky, since the Thomas hit...... Taking a sack from Roh....doesn't help Constant pass rush from the Blue D.... AJ Coney returns a missed FG 65 yards..... Demski catches his 1st as a Bomber..... ...then draws a PI call.... Medlock 45 yds, into the wind...makes 13-7 ...but game really more lopsided than that.. Esks doing nothing on O....their OL getting killed.... Nichols departs....enter Alex Ross.... ...who looks a little nervous in the service.... Danny O'Brian guy now the QB for Esks....... Chris Streveler now at the controls for the Blue. ....hits Wolitarsky for first down, then Adams... Ach du Lieber! Augustine bust up the gut 17 yds for TD.. 20-10....score starting to look....more like it. Opo and Roh, still bringing pressure... Ross rushing things a bit....couple of bad under throws... 2nd half....need to really peruse that ole roster sheet.... Streveler starts 2nd half at QB...scrambles for first down. Simonise makes good leaping catch. The toss/sweep running plays.....could use some work.. Menard-Briere guy makes it 23-10. Two scoring drives for Streveler. Announced crowd of 23,034. Nice try. Streveler throws it up for White, who wins jump ball... ...then turns on the burners and goes 85 yds for the TD Streveler is 7 for 7 and has put 17 points up on the board Thought Ross was supposed to be the experienced guy? Doesn't matter which QB in for Esks....they are all getting the bum's rush. Augustine still running hard.....guy has some pop. Even with reserves in....Bomber D shows plenty of speed... 2nd string officials have some problems with ball placement.... 2nd string scoreboard person...gives Esks a Bomber punt single.. At this point, Eskimo OL holding and tackling, all over the place.. Streveler has nice run up the middle...but doesn't protect ball - fumble. Bomber backup OL doing pretty good work on the run game. Everybody else getting pressure...so Trent Corney gets in on the act.. RB Thomas has some pretty good wheels... Now DE Sam Montgomery make a couple of plays.... Menard-Briere hits a low liner to make it 33-13. This O&S is a bit bigger that I anticipated... So is the gin.

  49. This sums up how I feel: Voice370, a support group for family members of those aboard the flight, released a statement expressing their disappointment. "Commercial planes cannot just be allowed to disappear without a trace," the statement said. "Stopping at this stage is nothing short of irresponsible, and betrays a shocking lack of faith in the data, tools and recommendations of an array of official experts assembled by the authorities themselves." How can the world allow this plane to disappear and not continue to search until they find it? Its not like its on Mars. Its in the South Pacific. Map the entire Pacific Ocean if you have t. all it takes is time and money.
