  2. After that game our cat got out and got under the deck, which is about a foot high. She got scared and hid far underneath. I had to army crawl under to get her. In the process I knelt in dogshit. Also tripped and smoked my head on the downspout. …It was still the better part of the evening.

  4. Some of you mistake the legal process with professional conduct policy. The CFL doesn’t have to wait for anything if they determine their conduct policy has been violated.

  5. If it's true that the commish is dismissive of this and not taking it seriously, then I might just be joining the bandwagon calling for his head. That's inexcusable and good on the women who quit over it.

  7. I know absolutely nothing about any of these prospects, but I promise to get upset when Walters doesn't pick the one guy everyone says we want!

  8. We probably missed the boat on this. I feel like the could have been a deal to be had earlier... 😂 Walters: How about we swap your 1st overall pick for Damian Jackson, straight up. Jones: Not a chance! Walters: Do you know how many different positions you could convert him to? Jones: Jones: You got yourself a deal!

  9. I watched every game for one RSEQ team for the last 4 years, and am in no way an actual football scout, but here's my take on some of the RSEQ players: Ben Labrosse and Kevin Mital - they are two of the three best football players I've seen in the RSEQ. The other was Josh Archibald, now on the BC Lions. Labrosse and Mital will definitely make CFL rosters this season. Both should be impact players in the CFL. Nathaniel Dumolin-Duguay - He's at least a backup guard in the CFL now, starter down the road. Laval OL are really well prepared to play at the next level, providing they have the size, athleticism, which he does. Dawson Pierre - Hodge has him going in the 4th round. If a team gets him in the 4th round they've scored. I'd be shocked if he doesn't have a decent CFL career. Special team player at a minimum. Every game I watched he made an impact. Totally disruptive force on D. Draft writers talk about him playing in the box in the CFL. I think he could stick with safety, be a Taylor Loffler type. I'm a big fan of his. Frédérik Antoine - Depending on the team, I think he could make a roster next season. Laval's offense was so good he probably didn't stand out as much as he could have on another team. Fast, smooth, good hands. Had a good combine.

  10. interesting quote from draftdiamonds scouting report Synopsis: Eric Barriere is a stronger quarterback prospect than fellow Eastern Washington quarterback Vernon Adams, who ultimately spent time playing in the CFL. While he may not project as a first round pick, he is the type of player that represents a strong value and investment on draft day. Barriere stands out as one of the top, if not the top, prospects in FCS football heading into the draft, and while he does have room to develop, he also showcases the work ethic necessary to grow. His best fit is on a team with an older established starter where he will have a season or two to learn the system before being thrust into a starting role, but his ceiling is not that of a career backup

  11. I see you are unfamiliar with Farhan Lalji! 😂 I don't think anyone can compete with him in that area, it's just that the rest of the TSN crew might be closer to his level of nut hugging this season.

  15. Yup...it's gonna be interesting if we see a lot of 2 QB sets...or a lot of ZC and Strev rotation...I think it'sthe multiple dual QB looks.....and from looking at what that Thompson brings, can you imagine a set with both ZC and Strev, as well as Thompson with motion in the backfield....or in a bunch set....what are your keys defensively there?...and oh yeah....you have BO lurking there too....All I can see right now is if you are not up on the Bombers...and by a lot in 2nd half/4th quarter....you are gonna be ground out to a fine dust

  17. For whatever reason, I feel like I’d really lost sight of how many interesting prospects the Bombers brought in this off-season. Not too worried about the massive amounts of WR or DB, that’ll sort itself out with reps but I do appreciate some of these names … real high calibre guys being brought up here. 5 names to watch in my obviously incredibly educated opinion: WR KJ Hill, DE John Waggoner, DT Jamal Woods, DB Travon Fuller, DB Juan Lua Bonus name, I think it’s a foregone conclusion he’s QB3: Eric Barriere Bonus name if Janarion Grant doesn’t come back: WR Aron Cruickshank

  23. I expect the Bombers to end up with 2-3 legit players out of both drafts along the DL. Hopefully one rush end type, one nose, one more versatile type. There will be guys available in the 5th round of this draft who are better CFL prospects than Bennett.

  27. Probably the most intriguing set of prospects we’ve had since TC of 2021. Glad to see the front office isn’t thinking status quo. Finally some roster battles!

  31. I personally couldn't think of any CFL players, former/present who played defense that got into trouble for cannabis related "crimes" while also struggling academically, who then became a star or hell even a HOF player. That has never happened.....there are also exactly zero CFL players who currently consume large amounts of cannabis during the season.....that also never happens....I've never personally seen all star players in cannabis shops purchasing products that are meant to be inhaled....not me....no sir....the CFL would never put up with those dope users.

  42. The quote is referring to James Butler and how they’re not ashamed that they tried to upgrade him. Incredibly out of context quote for the headline. Not in any way a reference to the Bombers.

  43. Chisari is a guy who would fit here. Has tailback skills. Showed really well in the 1 on 1's vs LB's/DB's. He'd be a guy the D would have to count, not like a Jackson or these FB's who can't move. Would be up gaining the blocking skills and special teams. Between him, Augustine, the receivers and a 6th OL you'd think you'd have any "fullback" reps covered in terms of bringing in extra blockers to backfield or edge.
