  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah Willie is just completely done at this point.
  3. May not be his MO but doing the same thing over and over again isn't going to help.
  4. Well he certainly wasn’t the “fall” guy. Wait a minute, he was. Dude couldn’t stand up all night.
  5. That’s true, but we could bring in most any imp fa de and they wouldn’t do worse. Wj gets torched soo bad in the run game it’s not even funny.
  6. Sad to say, there were so many bigger issues than Case, out there.... last night
  7. Doesn't help that our other DE...is bringing nothing either... Would of benched him BEFORE that penalty........he was just taking the tourist route, and occasionally waving his arms around.......
  8. Agree 100% Time to set a few vets. Heck I live in Calgary and I can not even remember many of the names on the Stamps lineup that were there last year. Calgary did a great job of recruiting based on what I have seen - The Bombers Recruiting?? did it happen???
  9. Person, Adams, Ayers, dress Woodbey and have him play as a 3-4 style rush end. Call back Webb or Brandon Wright. Bring in someone that was cut somewhere else. Really don't see any of these options being more useless than Jefferson has been so far this year. A warm body with a moderate understanding of their assignment and a willingness to battle could not possibly be any worse. Maybe he has something left to tap into. Looks tapped out though. Doesn't seem to have any drive to deal with some adversity. Other teams are basically laughing in his face while going right at him which probably is leading to the frustration penalties. My opinion, a guy like that you deal with when he's a good player, but on the downswing is toxic as ****.
  10. Today
  11. It would be. Except we have no depth.
  12. Wonder if MOS has that same loyalty dedication he’s earned it approach with WJ as he has for ZC, JT etc?
  13. Not MOS’s mo, especially with certain players. No way he deviates unless he’s literally forced to.
  14. Will bang this drum as often as it needs... team is complacent right now. Need a shake up to wake everyone up. Sit a Willie or Thomas.
  15. The tough guy routine from him is very tiresome. Make a damn play, be aggressive at the line of scrimmage, getting after QB. How many times a game does a RB blow right past him and he bricks his feet, maybe waves his arm as the guy goes by. Would be a very easy message sending veteran cut IMO.
  16. Did he play again after that cheap shot? If he did, that’s a bad decision by the coaches. Can’t have your vets running around trying to hurt guys at the end of a blowout. Really bad message to the rest of the team. &nbsp Discipline has been a problem too often this season.
  17. We need a wake up call......like 4-5 lineup changes.....including some vets. Or Walters needs to simply grow a pair...
  18. Bonds and Bridges combined had more targets, catches and receiving yards against in the 2 game series with Calgary than Wheatfall (our #2 receiver) has in 5 games. That was an exceptional torching of our corners. And no adjustment. Playing the same stupid cut cover on 2 man routes all day, every day. JY's defense isn't that small, it just got out of the pool!
  19. Great night at the movie last night watching : Bridges To Nowhere....and the secondary feature......."The name's Bonds, Terrell Bonds" Other than a CB, a DHB, MLB, and DE.....this D shows promise.....
  20. Yeah we'll see what happens but MOS and his no changes answer last night does not inspire me at all.
  21. Awesome. I think at the EOD the ultimate highlight was our man Milt Stegall and the love BB fans gave him. I hope other players were watching to drive home the point that carving out a successful career in the CFL is a great thing where a community will support you for a lifetime.
  22. I think the worst thing is we as fans feel we are headed to a rebuild but the powers that be do not seem too.
  23. Apropos based on his body of work last night. Hopefully he learns from it.
  24. The BBQ truck in the tailgate area is pretty good too (https://www.tortugassmokehouse.com/) . That was easily the highlight of the night for me.
  25. I agree, VAJ at least needs to put in a full season of success before he's anointed as elite. We had smatterings of his usual self last night but our D just couldn't get it done. Not the game I watched. It looked iike 80% of the time his line gave him the needed protection to eat up our secondary and establish the run. I'm thinking MOS has that we've been here before (losing multiple games in a row), we'll work our way out, stay the course and the naysayers will quieting down.
  26. It sucks because it’s hard to get excited. Like sure we still have some great players on both sides of the ball. Established players who have reached their ceiling already but it’s so hard to get excited about the what’s coming in the pipeline. Like there’s not a single young player on this team when I see us losing by 20 I can be like well thank god there’s going to be better days because X is starting to become a problem in this league, and by part it’s O’shsas absolute stubbornness of rolling out his guys game after game year after year. Even when you sign a free agent like Jones or Mitchell to help your team they both can’t get onto the field, what does that say to other players around the league when they’re looking to sign on free agency? What about all the young talent I saw in camp? There’s about a half dozen guys atleast on this starting roster that should be out of here and out of the league. There’s simply no chance to fight for a spot unless there’s an injury and we’re starting to see the consequences of these results now.
