I read somewhere yesterday that the Bombers have an offer on the table for him, and told him to field as many other offers as he wants, but to come back and talk and they'd be waiting.

Well that's part of it. Is it more of that or is it more sustained like he created here?

When has Toronto ever been down for more than a year or two?

Jeff Hamilton of the WFP was on Winnipeg Sports Talk today. Sure sounded like from what he's heard the Bombers brass (Miller) wants Osh to stay. Hope he's wrong.

Austin was a complete disaster in Hamilton and the only other time he's been in charge was a one season stint. He's also 65 years old.

with 2023 and 2024 in the que Say or Smith wouldnt have been a huge difference maker....but wouldnt have hurt us either, and would have been so much further in development for 2026 tho, the larger issue was it would have allowed another import elsewhere...say a legit Dline man to delete Thomas....an Imoport olineman todelete Kolo....a true legit WR threat You cant look at the thing just player vs player....it affected the entirety of the roster...a poorly crafted one for us in regards toassetts/value/worth....and coupled with his insistance to not vary from his rstio allotment....just handcuffed us more

what if ish said he didnt want them....or valued crap like Kolo...Thomas and money they sucked up as more important...is the G.M to do opposite of what HC wanted?...That would be dysfunctional....or if HC pited and stommped his feet at direction GM wanted...again dysfunctional...either way...no good and one had to go....and just based on what we witnessed with game decisions...who was rostered and played more....dumb move in games....playing hurt guys....not using Natioilzed rule....playing more Canadians than needed, when some were inferior than a Import....pretty apparent the major issue here became Osh.....and yeah Walter's was weak, and should have done something more...Or maybe they tried and Osh just was Osh...so plan was regardless after season if he got another offer or not...was gonna be gone? Enabling Osh to slither away ego intact?...who knows....but we can all agree we need change Running back 2026 as status quo...same people in place....we will be a 5th place squad Yeah...roster aside, or what was made available...Osh picked poorer players over better/younger upside guys....rarely allowed any young guy to get reps and acclimated/experince...or even push a guy off the starter spot to make the roster deeper and stronger.....while he rode guys into the dirt till there was zero tread left, or became limited due to injury and then had no viable guy to plug in they trusted or had any film on to feel good about playing them, and had to trot out injured guys further hamstringing the game day roster, all the while claiming they "all stater quality/number 1's) How that is any of Walters fault is hard to comprehend, and if he pulled the trigger mid-season this yr many...well most here would claim what an error that was ....Walter's biggest gaff was not pulling trigger after the 2024 Grey Cup loss and why we lost it...poor rostering...poor in-game decisions....and that was 3 yrs running Time to look forward now and at the positive aspect....we aren't rebuilding...or coming from a place where we started with Osh in 2013 that was an utter dupster fire...we in a good place....just need a new driver...we will be fine

I don’t want a repeat of this past season where washed vets get free passes so if that means Osh going to Toronto then so be it. This is where we find out truly how much was Osh and how much Kyle. Part of me hopes Kyle stays now and shows us that Osh was the problem. I’m not convinced the talent has been there the past couple training camps but maybe it was and just not played. I have some faith in brock sunderland to find talent cuz certainly did for Edmonton.

So to continue my unhealthy and illogical focus on one player who only played a very small part in our regression this 2025 year, if JT leaves with MOS and we only play with 11 players it would be like he never left.

Especially with a guy like Chad Kelly there (although I get the feeling his time there is done). MOS loves the high character guys and Kelly is probably the furthest thing from that in the league right now.

That would be ideal (if he actually leaves) With our luck it would probably be Brady, Holm and Younger

Jake, Kolo, Hogan all need to go with MOS IF he leaves.

If he leaves I'm more interested in how TO does over all. Maybe not year 1, but 2 and 3 for sure. That ultimately will be a tell of how things went down this year.

Yup, 6 downtown businesses have been hit in the last few months. Could be both a serial arsonist/drug addict but it could very well be extortion. Police believe at least 2 were targeted attacks (video shows molotov cocktails being used) rather than a random incident.

I dont know. There's been a ton of these restaurant fires lately and it sure smells like a serial arsonist and/or extortion.

I think there will be a mass exodus to follow him wherever he goes.... But it remains to be seen if that isn't necessarily a good thing.

Hardrick and Dobson leaving are 100% on the GM. Same as Lawler. If anyone thinks that any coach didn't want 3 all stars retained they are huffing paint fumes. KW manages the money and that is the reason all 3 left. How in god's green earth is that on O'Shea? The reason they are leaving is because they were offered big money and we chose not to match it up. Being offered big money means you got played. I am now realizing you were probably being sarcastic.

Some mildly interesting stuff on Bonfire last night.... Bauming indicated that O'Shea very much "runs things at Princess Auto Stadium"... That he's the one who is in charge of everything. Re: Kent Austin and why he would leave a cushy job in the NCAA, apparently he has expressed interest to people in the CFL about coming back again, according to Farhan Lalji. Farhan seemed to think he'd be a good fit in Winnipeg having played here before, but also said that Jordan Younger would be a good choice as well, and might be the only way to keep him from returning to Toronto with Osh.
