Kyle Walters better start general mangering now as he did nothing this past off season except sign a bunch of free agent scrubs for the most part while the real talent left. There was no CFL directive telling teams not to use the new salary cap amount. Why would the CFL announce an increase only to draw it back? Do you know just how bush league that would be?? And if they did, how would this affect the teams who may or may not have applied the increase to their spending? Suddenly you have 9 teams all spending money to different levels. Some to the cap limit, others less & others to the floor. How would you police the teams that went over the old salary cap amount of $5.6 million? Would you claw back the money & take away draft picks? Likely not so the risk (even if there was one) would probably be minimal but then again, there'd be no point having a salary cap if each team spent differently. It's also been 6 months since the increase was announced. Nothing happened to the cap so the story that money may be moved into pensions away from the salary cap was false. As far as your argument goes that not spending on Lawler means we could spend the money elsewhere. Looking at that roster & the holes we now have everywhere, just where did we spend it? Yep, letting Lawler go sure strengthened our roster immensely. That's what happened to the Stampeders. Next Man Up is a great mantra until there isn't anyone to step up anymore as the cupboards are bare. Then, you have to restock.

Yeah our issue is we don't have legit game breakers...Demski is kinda when he has 1..or 2 other guys with him...but alone he ain't gonna carry u to wins and if teams take him away...we hooped If we as a team are happy with mediocrity and hoping everything goes perfect and we get all the bounces...then yeah play Sterns and Case... Clercius plays a good complimentary role with possession and in run game...We have already seen Wheatfall can be neutralized with over under coverage so leaves just Demski...those 2 need help to excel...they don't have it

If anything i took a lot of grief from the osh loyalists here for my claims it's not all "Osh" for our success and how things are done...and have gone on record saying some have left specifically on how osh operates And a couple others early were influenced by teammates to stay when they intended to leave...one of whom was Woli at one point...and i know that as a fact

Guys don’t play one spot exclusively. WRs move around depending on scheme form etc. He fits the role he’s in perfect too. Catches every thing thrown his way, hard runner with the ball, very good blocker. Hes not a huge yac guy. The slot really benefits guys who don’t have a good get off move, and either are quick enough to pressure the cover at the snap, or a fast but not quick guy who needs to boost to hit high gear. Big Kev isn’t really any of those. The problem is we’ve got no no1 target, we’ve got a 2 a 3 and no 1 or 4. You cant afford to run out two scrub imp wrs in the cfl. Moving guys around won’t fix our issues, we need to dump sterns and case for legit CFL players.
