The tough guy routine from him is very tiresome. Make a damn play, be aggressive at the line of scrimmage, getting after QB. How many times a game does a RB blow right past him and he bricks his feet, maybe waves his arm as the guy goes by. Would be a very easy message sending veteran cut IMO.

Did he play again after that cheap shot? If he did, that’s a bad decision by the coaches. Can’t have your vets running around trying to hurt guys at the end of a blowout. Really bad message to the rest of the team. &nbsp Discipline has been a problem too often this season.

We need a wake up call......like 4-5 lineup changes.....including some vets. Or Walters needs to simply grow a pair...

Bonds and Bridges combined had more targets, catches and receiving yards against in the 2 game series with Calgary than Wheatfall (our #2 receiver) has in 5 games. That was an exceptional torching of our corners. And no adjustment. Playing the same stupid cut cover on 2 man routes all day, every day. JY's defense isn't that small, it just got out of the pool!

Great night at the movie last night watching : Bridges To Nowhere....and the secondary feature......."The name's Bonds, Terrell Bonds" Other than a CB, a DHB, MLB, and DE.....this D shows promise.....

Awesome. I think at the EOD the ultimate highlight was our man Milt Stegall and the love BB fans gave him. I hope other players were watching to drive home the point that carving out a successful career in the CFL is a great thing where a community will support you for a lifetime.

I think the worst thing is we as fans feel we are headed to a rebuild but the powers that be do not seem too.

I agree, VAJ at least needs to put in a full season of success before he's anointed as elite. We had smatterings of his usual self last night but our D just couldn't get it done. Not the game I watched. It looked iike 80% of the time his line gave him the needed protection to eat up our secondary and establish the run. I'm thinking MOS has that we've been here before (losing multiple games in a row), we'll work our way out, stay the course and the naysayers will quieting down.

It sucks because it’s hard to get excited. Like sure we still have some great players on both sides of the ball. Established players who have reached their ceiling already but it’s so hard to get excited about the what’s coming in the pipeline. Like there’s not a single young player on this team when I see us losing by 20 I can be like well thank god there’s going to be better days because X is starting to become a problem in this league, and by part it’s O’shsas absolute stubbornness of rolling out his guys game after game year after year. Even when you sign a free agent like Jones or Mitchell to help your team they both can’t get onto the field, what does that say to other players around the league when they’re looking to sign on free agency? What about all the young talent I saw in camp? There’s about a half dozen guys atleast on this starting roster that should be out of here and out of the league. There’s simply no chance to fight for a spot unless there’s an injury and we’re starting to see the consequences of these results now.

Well this will go round and round... some of the big free agents acquisitions are not getting on the roster... so is it a gm problem or a who the coach.plays problem?

I don’t think the pick was the turning point. I think it sucked and it was dumb and maybe reminded people that we weren’t winning this one but I think the turning point happened every time calgarys O was on the field in the first half especially. Our D couldn’t stop them. The only thing that stopped them were penalties and drops really. Receivers were wide open. Wide wide like double lane highway wide open. We couldn’t stop the run either. That was the turning point. The wind was taken out of the sails because our D couldn’t stop **** and it was obvious to all 33 k at the stadium plus prob 75 to 150k more Manitobans watching at home, we ain’t what we used to be. Not by a long shot. The mighty has fallen. Self inflicted it appears. Nope not cuz of no lawler either, this team still sucks with lawler. But because honestly. The guys who we play the most are garbage and wouldn’t be starting for most teams in the league. Thomas. Kyrie. Tony. All would be out of the league. At this point Willie might be Also. Bridges is awful. He should be cut. There’s no reason. He’s not a vet yet. Cut him. Would these guys go on to be better with other teams? No. God no. Like I dunno. We got a few guys who prob shouldn’t be playing anymore. And I’m wondering if maybe Streveler is one also.

There’s no accountability to the vets on the team and they be a big problem. Willie. Jake. Kyrie. Tony. All vets. in hockey this is what loses coaches rooms and eventually jobs because the younger better players are held accountable or play under 10 reps or even zero like our draft picks, and they see the Willie’s half assing every play, they see Jake and prob think really huh. It’s just toxic to most pro sports rooms. Gotta wonder if that is happening here. Shay smith Novak can’t be worse than Kyrie and Kramdi. Really. Maybe they make a tackle after a 3 yard gain instead of 9. on O it’s Kolo and really. After watching Streveler I’d play Zach with a broken hand also. Really need to bring in some real tackles cuz vanterpool good guard but looked lost at times. I wonder if he could convert to center. but with all that said. Bridges was doing his best London bridges impression last night all night also. Dude was the falling down because he was beaten like it’s 1940. (Back when men beat women and children with belts and willow branches ) and he’s a 2nd year guy. He’s gotten worse tho so that’s either poor or no coaching or just he’s not good enough. I’m leaning not good enough. Bring back El Dandy. Dude was atleast aggressive
